What was the problem before you used the Cert-Safe System?
“Before joining the CertSafe community we were constantly tackling the problem of expired certificates when subcontractors turned up on site.”
What results have you gotten from using the platform?
“CertSafe has allowed us to have closer control over the potential risks that our expired certificates could have on projects. By improving this we have reduced the number of days spent on certain projects due to no hindrances due to unqualified workers.”
What exactly did you like most about the product?
“We have been incredibly impressed by the level of safety that the Certsafe platform has increased for us particularly with the clever use of a risk percentage being used on the homepage of each project. This is there to show managers how at risk the project is of something going wrong, for example, if a subcontractor’s license was to run out before completion of the project the percentage would be higher.”
What was the main concern that would have prevented you from buying this, and what put your fears to rest?
“My main concern when researching into the platform was that the company and services are relatively new, however, after speaking with Phil and the sales team and listening to their level of expertise in the construction industry and seeing an example of the platform my worries were put to rest.”
If you were to recommend our product/service to your industry partners, what would you say?
“I would say that the construction industry has been in the dark ages with technology for too long relying on paper risk assessments and certificates. It's time for a change that will assist companies rather than create more problems and one which is universally used so there is no confusion between software platforms.”
What made you choose Cert-Safe over other systems?
“To my knowledge, there are no other platforms that combine all the elements that CertSafe has.”
What are the three benefits you've experienced as a result of buying/joining Cert-Safe?
“The first benefit that we have experienced is the reduction in time-wasting that was spent weekly going through certificates to check what ones were in date and what ones were shortly going to expire. This would be an absolute nightmare as they were never organised as nobody ever had the time to do it.
Secondly, due to Covid-19 a lot of the senior and non-essential members of staff have been working from home therefore at the beginning of lockdown we were finding it incredibly difficult to check and get documents signed off as we were unable to be in the same room as one another. However, with CertSafe you can do this remodel, have the ability to access documents at the same time and have them all in one secure platform. We are all able to log on to the platform and have a group teleconference to discuss project details just as easily as it were to all be in the same room.
Lastly, it would always be a chore to dig out risk assessments If anything were to ever go wrong on-site and then especially to find the right one for the project in question. Therefore having the ability to upload risk assessments to the platform and have them allocated per project has been a lifesaver.”

“Life, before we started using the CertSafe platform, was manageable or so we thought haha!”
What is life like now that you've experienced the platform?
“We are extremely impressed with the product and how well it has integrated itself into our company making the everyday managing of projects so much easier and less time consuming”
What surprised you the most or made you the happiest about using our services?
“What surprised me most, well I suppose the fact that the platform tackled problems which we didn’t even know existed and allowed for us non-site workers to still work effectively from home”
